A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Ellysha N. I am a rising freshman at Howard University studying management with a concentration in entrepreneurship. I am highly determined and dedicated in school and my extracurriculars. I have a lot of extra curricula such as dancing, track, community service, my business and more. I also have plenty of experience working with children as I have grew up being around so many kids. I was a teacher aid at Stats Daycare working with 3 months - 4 years olds. I volunteered/helped at Girls Prep Charter School with kindergarteners. I also have worked in Mosholu Day Camp with 10 year olds. I love children, they are so joyful and they enlighten me every time I come across them. I am confident that I have the ability to work with and understand any children with my skills of being communicative, patient and social. Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to read books to children and allow them to learn. I enjoy doing activities simple as learning through flashcards or an alphabet chart. If there is a close park, I will take the children out to play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is always trying to communicate with children. And having a lot of patience. Patience is needed. Some children need an extra push and that’s where I come in. Finally being social. I am so outgoing and energetic. In a Day Camp I worked at counselors needed to participate in activities with children. That wasn’t a problem for me because I loved all of the activities and the kids. I would dance with my campers when it came down to dance class, we would play basketball, tennis and swim together in the lake. I love interacting and involving myself with children.

Hello, I'm Logan! I'm a current sophomore at NYU and I am CPR and First Aid certified. As the eldest of four siblings, three of which were 7 years younger than me and triplets, I am incredibly experienced with caring for young children. Being the eldest daughter meant that being a caregiver was an immediate instinct of mine, and one I've enjoyed throughout my life. As an artistic person, I always try to involve arts and crafts or other creative activities, as well as outings to parks. In my free time, I enjoying writing scripts and screenplays, seeing musicals, and cooking. My availability is confined to after 6pm on weekdays, but the weekends are completely open. I can work to be flexible on certain days, communication is all I ask for. I cannot wait to meet and support your family!
