Hello, I’m Emerald, I’ve worked with kids since my early teens, and have years of experience with kids of all ages in single families, nanny-shares, and daycare facilities.
I studied child development in college and love to put my skills to use caring for children from infants to school-age. I believe it takes a village to raise happy, healthy kids and it’s so beneficial for them to have multiple trusted adults in their life that they can trust and look up to. I currently specialize in infants/toddlers but love every stage of development! Read-aloud/creative imagination games are my forte, and I love to encourage emotional regulation and healthy development through age-appropriate activities. I’m well-versed in weaning/potty-training, as well as all the other fun milestones. I enjoy exploring the world with kids (visiting the library, zoo, etc) to encourage self-confidence/confidence in their community. I am pet-friendly/have no pet or food allergies.
