A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Emily Hyden. I recently graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a BA in Economics and International Relations. Currently, I am an Algebra II teacher at Success Academy in Manhattan, but I am looking to nanny for a family in the city. I have 4 years of part-time nannying experience, but am pursuing full-time and/or live-in roles. I am willing to nanny for any child, regardless of age or needs. As a teacher and former nanny, I am most comfortable with children anywhere between the ages of 2 and 16 years old. My hobbies include practicing Mandarin Chinese (I have studied for 4 years and spent multiple summers in China), playing classical flute, reading, enjoying the outdoors, and exploring museums.

I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a Florida driver’s license, as I just moved to the city 3 months ago, but will be getting my NY license after the holidays.
