A little bit about me

Hi! I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Ed, with verification in generic special Ed as well as moderate/severe disability special Ed. I have been married for 24 years and have raised our 3 children. I homeschooled them all for 9 years, graduating one, and sending the other 2 on to high school where they entered at/above grade level. I volunteered with several organizations over the years, including 2 service dog organizations. During those times, I voluntarily raised 9 service dogs, most of whom went on to a life of service in being capacities.
This last year I worked in the MD public school system and a special educator, working with 4 amazing kids with varying, but intense, special needs.
I have raised, worked, interned, and volunteered with children with many different levels and kinds of needs including kids with autism, Downs syndrome, ADHD, hearing and visual impairment, and other needs. I am experienced at teaching basic sign language as well.
