Hi there, I'm Fiona! I have over a decade of child care experience from nannying to teaching in early childhood education, for both infant and toddler classrooms. My work in the preschool setting has been rooted in the Reggio Emilia model of education, viewing the child and caretaker/educator as co-creators of knowledge, with just as much to teach and learn from each other, as well as a deep trust in children's intrinsic abilities and skills to develop and grow. When working with children, I value letting children express their own interests and ideas when engaging in free play.
