I also enjoy planning simple cooking or baking activities, reading together, organising age-appropriate educational games, and supporting physical play through sports, swimming, and movement-based activities. My experience with special needs children...
I have strong experience supporting children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory regulation difficulties, and learning differences. Through my work as a primary teacher and learning support officer, I’ve developed the ability to adapt routines, communication, and activities to suit each child’s strengths and challenges. I also have a special needs uncle, which has given me a personal, lifelong understanding of patience, inclusivity, and meeting children where they are. This combination of professional and personal experience allows me to provide calm, empathetic, and tailored support to children with diverse needs.
