I volunteered as a camp counselor at Camp Angelos Outdoor School. I supervised and supported elementary-aged students throughout their camp experience. I was responsible for their care 24 hours a day, making sure they felt safe, included, and encouraged. I led outdoor activities, supported team-building exercises, and helped teach interactive lessons on nature topics like water, animals, plants, and soil. This experience was incredibly meaningful to me and helped me grow as a leader while deepening my passion for working with children in fun, hands-on environments.
