More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve mostly cared for children in my family and family friends’ kids, ranging from ages 1 to 8. I’ve helped with feeding, diaper changes, nap time, playtime, and even basic learning activities like reading or counting. I’m very patient, responsible, and great at keeping kids entertained in safe and creative ways. I’ve also handled light household tasks while babysitting, like tidying up play areas and prepping simple meals. My experience has taught me how to be calm under pressure, attentive to kids’ needs, and dependable when parents need an extra hand.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy crafting—especially painting, which I do in my free time. I find it relaxing and a great way to bond with children while encouraging their creativity. I also love doing hands-on activities like coloring, building with blocks, or making simple DIY projects together. When the weather’s nice, I enjoy being active with the kids—whether it’s playing outside, going for walks, or doing fun games that keep them moving and engaged. I’m all about creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where kids can express themselves and feel supported.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where a child can feel comfortable and cared for. It’s not just about watching over them—it’s about being someone they can trust, grow with, and have fun around. Every child is different, so being patient, understanding, and attentive to their needs is key. I believe it’s also important to support the parents by being dependable, respectful, and keeping open communication.
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have much hands-on experience working with children who have special needs, and at the moment, I don’t feel fully comfortable taking on that responsibility without the proper training or knowledge. I believe every child deserves patient, informed care, and I want to make sure I’m fully prepared before stepping into that type of role. I’m always open to learning and growing, and I admire the families and caregivers who support children with special needs every day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was when I was watching my younger cousin, and we spent the whole afternoon painting and making crafts together. She ended up giving me one of her little paintings as a “thank you” gift, and it was such a sweet and genuine moment. I love how kids show their appreciation in the most heartfelt ways. Moments like that remind me how meaningful it is to build trust and connection with a child—just being present, patient, and making them feel safe and happy.
