Full-Time Available Nanny Isabel in Portland, OR

A little bit about me…I am a passionate and consistent childcare provider with over 6 years of experience. I have worked as a nanny for four different families over the years providing a variety of services from weekly meal prep to household cleaning to traveling with families. I have spent the last year during the pandemic as a nanny and learning pod leader for four children from two families. While facilitating online learning for three elementary children I also acted as a traditional nanny for a four year old kid. As a former children’s gymnastics teacher and lover of sports, I believe in the importance of getting kids active in a fun and exciting way. I am very cautious about my health and am fully vaccinated against COVID. I am first aid and CPR certified.

Isabel is so incredible! My kids absolutely *loved* being in her care: she is so creative, energetic, caring yet firm, and joyful. Another bonus: Isabel enjoys cooking. She also is reliable and adaptable: always on time and ready for whatever curveball the kids or I threw at her. I cannot recommend Isabel highly enough!

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were…I have worked with four different nanny families and as a children’s gymnastics teacher. This includes children as young as 4 months olds up to 12 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children…I am a huge lover of animals! I currently serve on the board of directors at Born Again Pit Bull Rescue. When I am not hanging out with adorable children or dogs, you can find me watching Trail Blazers game or baking delicious treats in the kitchen. Fun fact about myself, I am a vegan and am passionate about creating healthy and tasty meals!
The most important part about being a nanny…One thing I have learned that helps me thrive as a nanny is having shared core values with the family. I find this allows for stronger communication and more consistency for the children.
My favorite nanny moment…I think my favorite moment with each family I have nannied for is being able to see the moment when a child begins to trust you and see you as part of the family. As a nanny, I spend lots of time with you and your child and believe creating a safe and caring environment for open communication is essential.
