I worked for a nonprofit organization that was kept at my church , I was the nanny of couple of children who parents needed additional help , I also was a nanny in my neighborhood (still am ) , some people are blessed with many talents but I know for sure my talents are LOVING kids & SEEING the biggest smile come across their faces , I love being the (super nanny)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Okay this may be weird , but I enjoy doing fun activities with children outside of electronic devices, I love showing kids there's alot more too then devices or TV, being active outside , board games , most of all learning GAMES , it's a win win , you have fun enjoying different unique games but also preparing for them for the future with a great learning purpose.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is a rewarding job. You get to watch a child grow in real-time, support, and teach them new things and celebrate early experiences they have in life. Most important things are HONESTY , LOVE , CARE , SAFE , TEACHING positive & great things , being THERE,
My experience with special needs children...
For starters when working with a child who may face different challenges is okay .. I don't clarify children as being " special needs" they are kids as well , they should be getting shown the same respect as any other individual, but my experience with being a nanny , I was doing everything that the parent/guardian recommended me to do , having patience & being gentle at all times , building a great connection, show them you care and love for them and you here no matter what.. so they can feel very safe in protected , I actually enjoyed working with kids any kind , no matter what they look like , no matter the skin color, no matter what challenges they were born with , long as I can keep them happy & learning that's all that matters too me .
