Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was in charge of a youth group at my church this last summer for pre teens and teens. Also, I have done a pageant for 2 years where we do things like read books to kids, run their after school dances and take pictures with them. And lastly along with youth group, at my church I would help run children's church and often times will help in the nursery.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy going on walks with kids when its a nice day out, letting them "help" me make their food and playing with their toys.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a good role model for them to watch because children are always watching, even if we don't think they are.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven't had any experience taking care of special needs children yet, but we had quite a few special needs kids who I have gone to school with for 6 years. I was in student council and was my class president and we had 2 special needs students that I worked with a bunch especially when they weren't happy with something.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite memory was watching 3 kids and we were sitting at the dinner table eating mac and cheese and one of the kids asked what was on my plate and told him "gum" and they all 3 found it hilarious and kept asking me what was on my plate. The more they asked the more they laughed!
