Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Chatting, playing pretend, singing, drawing, arts and crafts, video games and movies, building forts, helping with homework, silly voices, characters and making up jokes, going for walks and talking about nature, swimming, running in sprinklers, hopscotch and chalk! I think it’s so important to be excited and enthusiastic about what children are doing, playing, or going through and I love to be someone who can cheer a child up by being attuned to what they need.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important thing is being able to acclimate to the way a family lives and understand how they function so you can be the biggest help possible to them rather than coming in and interrupting their flow and the vibe of their home.
My experience with special needs children...
I have babysat many children who are on the spectrum, and my stepchild has autism as well. Being neurodivergent myself, I really feel I have a way with neurodivergent children as I have a lot of empathy for my undiagnosed child self who didn’t have language or support for how hard life was. If I can’t go back and provide those tools for myself I want to help provide them for anyone else I can.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The first time I heard my nanny child’s belly laugh. And her first steps and her first words. Thinking about it makes me want to cry! It’s an incredible experience to watch a child grow and learn and know you were a part of that!

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Seattle, WA: Natalie S.
Hi families,
My name is Natalie and I would love to be your next nanny! I have taken care of primarily infants and toddlers for over 9 years in various childcare settings (including Montessori schools) where I have taken care of up to 4 infants at one time on my own throughout the day. I managed each of their routines and feeding schedules while maintaining a clean classroom environment and worked on their developmental skills with each infant.
I am a patient and calm person, which is just what young children need who are experiencing the world for the first time need.
I began nannying in 2023, and have found joy in being able to get outside with them, as it was not always possible while working with infants in a school environment. This is something I value greatly, as each child deserves to experience nature everyday. I would love to connect and look forward to hearing from you!
