Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a camp counselor for children with different disabilities, ages 7-16, at Texas Lions Camp. I have intermediate ASL and Spanish proficiency and am CPR/First Aid certified as well as certified to work with children with physical disabilities. I am also currently a home Pre-K facilitator for 2 four year olds.

Texas Lions Camp is a residential summer camp for children with physical disabilities, type 1 diabetes and cancer. • Provide care for campers 24/7 during their week long stay at camp. • Adapt to the particular needs of each child based on their particular disability in all activities and events. • Be a constant source of enthusiasm and encouragement for all children and fellow counselors also. • Learned beginner American Sign Language to communicate with deaf/non-verbal campers.
