I recently relocated to Simsbury to assist my 89 year old mother. I raised four amazing children, and my youngest graduates from Lehigh University on May 17th. I was fortunate to take a pause from my career to raise my children. Therefore; I have experience with all ages of development. In addition, since I was a stay at home mother I would babysit the neighborhood children. I am compassionate, patient, and firmly believe your children are aware of all your actions. I enjoy working with children, and love to read, ski, golf and play tennis. I am extremely organized and believe a tidy house adds structure and calmness. I look forward to hearing from you.

Then I cared for a Quadreplegic woman (she has since passed away). I moved to FL in 1988 and came back to Simsbury in 2010 to care for my elderly mother (she passed in 2014 at McLean). I am back in Simsbury a year now and looking to work for a family, helping care for their children. I am a very safe driver (had my CDL and drove school bus for several years, first in Bloomfield, then in FL). I have some arthritis and use a walker, but I am a good cook, and truly enjoy helping others and being around young(er) people. No children of my own, but have nephews (now in their late-30’s to mid-40’s).
