A little bit about me

I have a total of 4 years working as a paid nanny and housekeeper. I've been a nanny to 3 different families and worked at a preschool/daycare for 8 months. I'm the oldest of 4 siblings and helped raise my 2 younger siblings who are 11 and 13 years younger than me. My favorite part about nannying is teaching kids and seeing their faces light up when they learn something new. As a nanny I love spending time outdoors. Gardening is a big hobby of mine and love sharing that with kids. It teaches them responsibility, science, routine, and just how beautiful nature is. If we can't be outside we'll spend the day crafting, painting, playing teaching games and listening to music. I do have newborn experience and I'm very comfortable with it. I'm also fully vaccinated!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in 2 different day cares, one was a summer job in 2017. It was only me and it was at a cross country club. I usually had about 3-6 kids a day that I looked after for a couple of hours. Shortly after that I worked in a preschool/daycare as a Floater teacher. This was where I was put in different classes everyday with however needed help. This gave me so much experience working with children from 1month to 4 years old. It also gave me a passion or teaching children as I had so much fun seeing the kids eyes light up as they learned something new. This isn't exactly a job but I've also grown up helping raise my 2 younger siblings with an age difference of 11 and 13 years apart.

While working at a preschool we have quite a number of children with special needs such as autism, down syndrome and deaf.
