"Lilly was a fantastic nanny to my daughter Sage. Lilly watched Sage from 2 months old to 2.5 years old. Sage blossomed under Lilly's care. Lilly helped Sage achieve all of her milestones, whether by followed our established plans or researching on her own to find new and creative ways to help Sage grow. Lilly taught Sage sign language, which helped her start communicating early on, since she was slow to talk it was a life saver! Lilly was great a ensuring our daughter was fed well balanced meals and provided with engaging activities. Sage thrived under Lilly's care and I know that anyone else's kids will too. Lilly is great at following instructions and kept the house neat and tidy throughout the day as well as taking on any additional task. I would recommend Lilly for any job that might come her way."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
During my junior- senior year in highschool I was a teacher assistant for pre-k - 3rd grade. Here I helped set up crafts, got them ready for breaks, helped with school work and read to them. I’ve babysat many family friends kids from the ages 2-13 years old. I volunteered at kidz zone, a gym daycare, where I watched kids from ages 4-12. My responsibilities were watching/entertaining the kids, enforcing daycare rules, and ensuring they didn’t get hurt. I would also lead and participate in arts and crafts. For the last 2.5 years I nannied for my sister and brother in law. I started watching Sage at a month old up until she was roughly 2.5 years old. My responsibilities included diaper changes, bottle feeding, meal prep, developing activity schedules, basic sign language, skill building, potty training, naps, crafts and just some basic fun.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have a passion for arts, crafts, and anything creative. I have endless ideas when it comes to fun activities. I can imagine your kids and I doing silly, fun, educational and skill building crafts daily. I also love the outdoors. We would go on walks, go to the playground, or just explore the backyard. I have a degree in baking and pastry. I can’t wait to explore the fun of baking with your little!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I know how important it is to always be there as a positive and supportive pillar for a kid. My goal is to always hear the child out and never make them feel bad for them being there selves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is when my 2 month old niece Sage laughed for the first time. She was such a serious baby and never laughed. One day she saw the dogs playing and just started giggling. I was so excited that I instantly video chatted my sister so she could exprience that moment as well.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Portland, OR: Natalie J.
Hi! My name is Natalie! I am a graduation senior from UVM. I am from San Francisco, but have lived in Burlington the past four years and am not quite ready to leave! I have about 8 years of experience in childcare and would consider myself a fun, adventurous, patient, attentive, and responsible care giver. Through my various babysitting experiences, I have learned about the importance of a balance between responsibility and providing an exciting and enjoyable environment for children. I worked at a summer camp the past two summers in which I was responsible for creating positive learning spaces for groups of children while ensuring to be attentive to their needs. Given the current state and uncertainty of our world, I believe this is a time in which everybody, children especially, need positive and motivating influences in their lives. I would be happy to provide tutoring and/or other forms of educational learning to help address the issues of lack of school and/or camps.
Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Portland, OR: Zelmira S.
Hello! My name is Zelmira!
I'm passionate about gentle, respectful childcare. I feel that one of the most important aspects of care-taking is making sure children feel seen, safe, and supported as they learn and grow. I understand that compassion and connection is so important. I am currently pursuing nursing at PCC, (planning to eventually become a midwife!) so I love working with families! My work in childcare thus far has taught me to be receptive to specific children's needs, and that communication and adaptivity is so important. My experience as a preschool teacher/nanny has taught me the essentials of developmentally-appropriate activities, as well as the importance nurturing connection.
Thank you for your consideration!
