More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Full resume and references available upon request!
I worked with infants and young toddlers in the Early Childhood Program at Shalom Austin from [phone number hidden]. Since July 2020 I’ve nannied for a few different families with kiddos ranging from 5 months to 6 years old. I've done everything from creating lesson plans with engaging activities to facilitating homeschool kindergarten.
I also have numerous training certificates in various areas from my time with Shalom Austin and have been certified in pediatric and adult CPR and first aid (my certification expired in 2021, but I am willing to renew).
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Exploring nature, doing art projects, playing silly games, and reading books are some generic activities I love to do.
My favorite thing is creating fun and enriching activities tailored to specific kids and their abilities, interests, and learning needs!
Example: A former nanny share had 2 kiddos who LOVED trucks, so most of the learning activities we did together were truck focused. We would sort all the trucks by color or size, count them, talk about any letters or numbers written on them, we even taped markers to the backs of them to spark their interest in writing!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Keeping kiddos safe, happy, and loved.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience with medically fragile infants/toddlers.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are always when my nanny kids refer to me as one of their friends :)
