A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Louise! I moved to Corvallis in April and have been working part-time/remotely as an environmental scientist. Since my hours are flexible, it leaves me with a lot of available time and I would love to find a good fit for a family to work with! I used to babysit nearly every weekend in high school for a range of families in my neighborhood. I loved working with kids so much that I later became a sailing instructor and taught summer camp programs for four summers! Since then, I've also taught environmental lessons in elementary schools as well as to middle and high-schoolers on a 60-ft sailing vessel. I'm very enthusiastic about outdoor education and hands-on learning, and love to encourage kids to learn about the world around them. Let me know if you'd like to speak further!
