We are looking for a full-time or near full-time (minimum 30hrs/wk) nanny for our two children at our home in the Oak Creek neighborhood of Corvallis, beginning June 8 (start date flexible). Hours would be 9-5, or something along those lines.

Children are ages 3.5 (girl) and 1.5 (boy). Both are fun-loving, good-spirited, curious, and energetic.

We are looking for a loving, open, and reliable caregiver who can keep up with two busy kids, and who enjoys coming up with developmentally appropriate activities for them.

JOB DUTIES
- Providing developmentally appropriate educational activities for the kids
- Making kids’ meals and feeding them
- Cleaning up after kids (toys, kids’ laundry, dishes, etc)
- Driving the kids short distances (less than 5 miles) on occasion (you can use our car)
- Light housekeeping, if possible

REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Fluent in English
- Must be OK with dogs (you are not expected to do any pet care, but if you have severe dog allergies, this job is not a good fit for you)

Not required, but a huge plus if you have:
- Experience caring for children with food allergies
- Experience with or deep knowledge of Montessori methods of education
- Fluency in Spanish or another language

BENEFITS
- Hourly rate: $16/hr minimum (we will set the rate based on your experience)
- Generous holiday bonus
- 2 weeks paid vacation per year
- 2 weeks paid sick leave per year
- Lunch provided (assuming you are OK eating what the kids eat!)

This is a long term position. The ideal candidate would be able to join our family for at least one year.
