A little bit about us
My oldest just started kindergarten. He’s autistic with some sensory aversions and needs things done a certain way otherwise he gets confused about what’s happening. He’s very sweet and curious and loves learning and playing. He gets bored very easily.
My youngest is still in diapers and usually naps for about an hour in the afternoons. She’s very cranky after her nap and needs some cuddling and attention while she adjusts to being awake.
I’m looking for someone to watch them occasionally from 4pm to 7pm on 1-2 weekdays per week, and from 7pm to 11pm on a Friday or Saturday night (not every week). This would mean alone time with my oldest during my youngest’s nap time, preparing dinner (everything will be provided) and making sure they both eat and clean up after themselves, reminding my oldest to use the bathroom, changing my youngest’s diapers, and making sure they don’t break the house. The weekend shifts would also include bedtime: brushing teeth and hair and tucking into bed. On warmer days it would be great to take them outside before dark; we have a yard for them to play in and they also love riding their bikes out front on our driveway.
Please no anti-vax. No smoking indoors or around the children, but smoking outside away from the children is fine. We have one dog; he’s a pitbull mix who loves cuddling and giving tons of kisses.
