Before starting college, I was a part-time nanny for a summer to two recently adopted children with extensive health issues. This role required a lot of attention and care.
In my role at university as a resident advisor, though, I have been trained in working with college-aged students and advising them with mental health, learning to live on their own, and forming healthy habits.
Most recently I have been living in Spain teaching English to students from ages 5 to 14. Along with my teaching position, I was a part-time nanny to two Spanish children aged 6 and 8.
