My name is Natalie, I’m a nurturing and dependable caregiver, born and raised in NYC, and moving back home tomorrow. I’m currently looking to join a family in need of a trustworthy and engaged nanny. I have several years of hands-on experience with children of all ages, both as a private nanny and in classroom settings. I also studied Early Childhood Education and child psychology during my time at Buffalo State College.

I’m comfortable helping with household tasks, running errands, and working in homes with pets. -Working as a private nanny for several families, caring for children ranging in age from newborn to 6 years old.
-Serving as an after-school teacher, supporting young children with daily routines, structured play, and social development.
-Babysitting regularly for family and family friends since I was a teen.
-Studying Early Childhood Education and child psychology at Buffalo State College, which included hands-on learning and classroom observation.

In all of these roles, I’ve been responsible for preparing three balanced meals a day, helping with potty training, and consistently following morning and bedtime routines. I take pride in creating a calm, nurturing environment where children feel safe and supported.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of the activities I enjoy doing with children vary depending on their age and interests. With newborns and infants, I focus on gentle stimulation like tummy time, singing lullabies, reading picture books aloud, and baby-safe sensory play.
For toddlers, I love incorporating creative activities like finger painting, dancing, simple puzzles, outdoor walks, and introducing colors, numbers, and shapes through play. With preschoolers and early elementary-aged kids, I enjoy reading stories together, practicing early writing skills, building with blocks or magnetic tiles, doing themed crafts, baking simple recipes, and playing imaginative games. I always aim to keep a good balance between fun, structure, and learning throughout the day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is making a child feel safe, loved, and free to be their silly, curious, growing little self. Whether it’s sticking to a cozy routine, sharing giggles during playtime, or offering comfort on a hard day, I try to be a gentle and steady presence they can count on. It’s also really special to build a trusting relationship with the parents, so we’re all working as a team. I truly believe the small, everyday moments are what shape a child’s world—and I love being part of that in a warm and meaningful way.
