A little bit about me

Hi there! My name is Raelyn and I'm an energetic and creative 26-year-old with over 8 years of childcare experience. I'm a singer and performer here in NYC, but when I'm not on stage, you can find me as an assistant teacher at a prestigious preschool on the Upper East Side molding the minds of my 13 3-year-old best friends. Although I currently work with toddlers, I have experience with all ages and can easily mold to fit a child of any age and various needs. I also have experience with special needs children and adults.
I'm currently looking for part-time after-school and weekend work and would like the commitment of one family. My rates start at $25 an hour for 1 child. I'm CPR-certified and have certifications in early childhood development.
My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow. I love doing crafts, teaching music, pretend play, reading stories, and planning special outings when appropriate.
