More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have various experience working with younger individuals. I currently volunteer at a K-5 school in my neighborhood. In school I work with kindergarteners and first graders with group reading, classwork, or sight words. Outside of school, I grade work and provide Zoom sessions for students who need extra help with articulation.
I have also had the role of a Camp Counselor, where I worked with 8 to 12 year old campers and assisted them with summer homework packets, participated in activities, games, and trips all while providing a safe and caring environment for my campers.
Additionally, as the eldest child of three, I have always adored little ones and have babysat ages ranging from 3 months to children with the ages of 6 and up for my Mother and Aunts!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making your child feel comfortable, seen, and happy. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a child's face light up with a smile, knowing I had a part in that joy. Many people don't realize how much of an impact these small moments of kindness can have on a child. These positive experiences stick with them and it shapes how they treat others in the future. That's why I believe it is so crucial to be good to a child—treat them well, and you'll truly see the difference it makes in their lives.
