My relevant experience caring for children comes from both my work as a private pediatric nurse and my personal experience caring for children. I enjoy spending time with kids, keeping them engaged, helping with their routines, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. My nursing background has also taught me to be patient, attentive, and dependable when caring for children with different needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing dress-up, having tea parties, building with blocks, playing with dolls, playing hide-and-seek, and using our imagination for pretend play. I also enjoy arts and crafts, watching movies, and spending time outside when the weather is nice. I love keeping children entertained with fun, creative, and age-appropriate activities!

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the child feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I believe safety always comes first, while also creating a trusting and positive environment where children can have fun, be themselves, and feel heard.
My experience with special needs children...
have experience caring for children with special needs, including children with Down syndrome and autism, including children who are nonverbal. As a private pediatric nurse, I have also cared for children with G-tubes/G-buttons and experience with CPT vest treatments, feeding, medications, and other daily care needs. I’m patient, attentive, and adaptable to each child’s individual needs, communication style, and routine.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are when I see that a child feels comfortable, safe, and happy around me. I also love listening to kids tell me their stories, ideas, and little adventures. Seeing them open up, be themselves, and know they have someone who is listening and paying attention to them is very special to me.
