My experience with special needs children...

I have extensive hands-on experience working with children with special needs in both educational and recreational settings. I worked as a swim instructor for one year, where I supported children with special needs on a daily basis by adapting lessons to meet individual abilities, building trust, and ensuring a safe and encouraging environment.

For the past two years, I have worked as an afterschool teacher, where I continue to work closely with children with special needs and students with behavioral challenges. In this role, I provide consistent, hands-on support, learn each child’s unique needs and learning style, and work patiently through challenges to help them succeed. I am committed to creating a positive, structured, and supportive environment where every child feels valued, understood, and capable of growth.
