The most important part about being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the children and their parents. During my volunteer work, I had the privilege of supporting children with a variety of neurodevelopmental, learning, communication, and cognitive differences. Each child had unique needs and ways of connecting with the world, which taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and adaptability.
