I'm Sofia, a 22-year-old native New Yorker with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of love for children. Graduating from Kenyon College with a BA in Dance and Spanish, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in various roles that have shaped my journey into childcare. I have been a camp counselor at three different camps and have babysat since I was 14.

Currently, as a Student Success Coach with City Year New York, I work closely with fourth-graders in East Harlem, guiding them through academic challenges and fostering social-emotional growth. I work closely with students in my class who are seeking asylum from South and Latin America, and I'm dedicated to helping them navigate language barriers and find their voice in the classroom.
