More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I cared for children and have over six years of babysitting and nannying experience, caring for children of various ages in home settings. I also worked for three summers as a counselor with Sportz Campz4Kidz, where I supervised children ages 5–13, led structured sports and outdoor activities, ensured safety in high-energy environments, and encouraged teamwork and positive behavior. In addition, I volunteered through church youth programs and community outreach events, helping mentor and engage children in educational and recreational activities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy outdoor play, sports, arts and crafts, reading, imaginative play, beach or park outings, educational games, and hands-on activities that encourage creativity and learning with minimal screen time. I also enjoy helping children stay active through movement-based activities, teamwork games, and age-appropriate routines that build confidence, communication, and independence. Since I enjoy healthy living and an active lifestyle myself, I naturally love engaging children in fun, interactive experiences both indoors and outdoors.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is ensuring a child’s safety while providing consistent, emotionally supportive, and developmentally appropriate care. Beyond completing daily tasks, a nanny plays a key role in creating a stable, nurturing environment where children feel secure, understood, and encouraged to grow. This includes being attentive, proactive, and responsive to each child’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs while maintaining strong communication and trust with the family.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was during a summer camp relay that somehow turned into the “Mini Olympics.” One child insisted they weren’t athletic, so I promoted them to “official team strategist.” By the end, they were passionately giving out play-by-play instructions like a tiny sports commentator—and completely forgot they were “not athletic.”
