Hello, My name is Tye Joseph and I am 18 years old. I graduated highschool in 2021 and I now attend Southern University A&M college. I am home for the summer and I’m looking for a summer job and this is something I’d be interested in doing that wouldn’t feel like work. I’ve always been the babysitter in the family so I love being with kids for the most part and my personality is very outgoing and spontaneous. I do not have a vehicle but I have my sister and mom who is willing to drive me to work whenever I’m needed. My heart is in the right place and I am very big on energy, so the only reason for me not returning would be because the energy was off. I understand that I won’t be the right fit for every kid and that’s okay I hope you find the right nanny if I don’t work out.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m honestly open to doing anything that the kids want to do. Whatever interest them I would take interest in if it’s something positive and okay with the parents. Me personally I love hands on activities and going outside and playing games with the kids. Watching movies are up my alley and you can never go wrong with a good talent show.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’ve never had a job before so this would be my first job. The most important part about being a nanny is protecting and enjoying the kids while respecting the parents boundaries and rules. The parents are trusting you with their child and that you do right by them.

My experience with special needs children...

In middle school when I was an office aid I had the chance to help special needs children in the classroom and I loved It. My heart is big and I love pretty much everyone no matter what they look like that’s always one of the things I’ve adored about myself. In High School I was actually close to one of the kids their teacher would let them step out of line to run and give me a hug and on the days I was feeling down his smile and hug lifted me up.
