A little bit about me

Hi there, my name is Valeria and I’m an energetic and creative 20 year old! I fell into childcare three years ago when I started working at an after-school program and love it so much! My favorite age group are toddlers, but I have experience with all elementary school ages.

I’m looking for a full time position, with a minimum of a six-months commitment, and my rates start at $20/hour for one child. I’m CPR and First-Aid certified, have my own car, and have taken a few online courses in child development.

My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I’m firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to.

In my personal time I love to read books, listen to music, and doing anything that allows me to express my creativity. I look forward to meeting you!
