A little bit about me

My name is Yasmine. I am a full time nanny. Who has had the amazing opportunity to be a caregiver for many children over the last 4 years.

Growing up in a big, loving family taught me early on how important patience, understanding, and compassion are, especially when caring for children. Children grow the best in a safe, caring, and structured environment. Which is what I provide for each child and family I work with.

Open and honest communication with parents is key. Every family is unique, and so is every child. I do my best to stay flexible and supportive, while also respecting the rules and routines that make each household feel like home.

I work with ages between 0 months to 10 years of age. Caring up to only four children at time. I am CPR and First Aid certified. Tasks that come with my service include meal preparation and all housekeeping to help things run smoothly.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Earlier this year I cared for a family who were parents to a beautiful 5 month old girl. I worked with her in April and June of this year. She was a newborn with speacial accommodations, for a slight percentage loss of hearing and sight. However she, along with her parents were wonderful.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Each activitiy is specifically catered towards their needs and interests. I love to incorporate their passions, while also focusing on education and fundamentals. It's important to have fun, while also reaching our learning goals. So if there is a way I can do both, that is what I aim for.

My experience with special needs children...

Ive worked with special needs children, along with children on the spectrum. Cases I have delt with are verbal and nonverbal communication, sensory processing, information processing, repetitive behaviors, executive functioning, and routines. Including ADHD, OCD, ADD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and anxiety disorders.
