More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I bring 13+ years of childcare experience with children from infancy through adolescence, including a 7-year role with one family. I’ve managed complex schedules, school drop-offs, sports, appointments, and playdates, while leading educational and creative activities, especially in summer. I assist with meals, errands, light housekeeping, and keeping the family calendar organized. Known for patience, structure, and adaptability, I tailor care to each child’s needs. During the pandemic, I provided full-time infant care—supporting feeding, diapering, sleep training, and developmental tracking, all while maintaining strict safety protocols. I foster emotional and social growth through sensory play, age-appropriate learning, and playdates. I prioritize open communication and dependability, helping parents feel confident and supported while creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking kids to parks, museums, and exploring nature. I also enjoy leading creative art projects, drawing on my fine arts background to inspire imagination and self-expression through painting, crafts, and hands-on activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building genuine, trusting relationships with the children I care for. I take the time to really get to know each child—their personality, interests, and needs—so I can support them in a way that’s truly individualized. I believe in helping children grow into confident, kind, and self-aware individuals with a strong sense of character. By creating a safe, nurturing space and modeling empathy, respect, and integrity, I aim to guide them not just in their daily routines, but in becoming their best, most authentic selves.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked with a family for 7 years, supporting their oldest child who has autism, ADHD, and anxiety. Over time, I built a strong, trusting relationship with him and learned how to adapt routines and communication styles to meet his needs. I focused on providing a calm, structured environment, using positive reinforcement, visual schedules, and consistent routines to support his emotional regulation and daily success. I collaborated closely with his parents and therapists to stay aligned on goals and strategies. This experience taught me patience, flexibility, and the importance of celebrating small milestones. It was incredibly rewarding to be part of his growth and to help create an environment where he felt safe, understood, and supported.

Hi!
I saw your posting online. I would love to work with your family watching your baby. I recently worked for a family for 2 years before they moved, watching their baby boy since he was 4 months old. I love reading to him, taking him to the park, meeting other nannies for playdates, going to classes with him and spending time outside! I'm on-time, honest and dependable. I rarely ever get sick so you can count on the fact I will be available every day. I'm never on my phone when watching the child so I can give him/her all my attention. I hope you will consider me!
