A little bit about us
I am full-time work from home and my husband just graduated from Berkeley and is looking for work, which is why we need a part-time nanny. We are flexible on schedule, but hoping for Tuesday-Thursday roughly 10am-5pm.
Here are more details of what we are looking for (and some of our house rules). If this all looks good to you, we'd love for you to apply!:
- Engage Philomena in active play, including reading, floor time, some outside time, etc.
- I still breastfeed (I don't pump), so must be comfortable managing those transitions with me around naptime.
- Must be a non-smoker. Please no heavy perfumes (light fragrance is fine, I just get migraines easily)
- Must have comfort with food prep and feeding. CPR training a big plus. Philomena does a mix of purees, thicker textures, and some baby-led weaning. We feed her a mix of fish/chicken/beef, lots of meat stock, vegetables, fruits, and plain greek yogurt.
- When baby is down for her nap or if we take her for a walk, we need help with "mother's helper" type tasks, including folding laundry, dishes, and tidying.
- Note, we have a friendly cat.
- Bonus points: if you can help us get her in a more solid napping routine (we don't do cry it out or firm "sleep training"); if you are familiar with "pocket folding" for laundry; if you are musical or have any other talents you'd like to share with baby; if you could also very occasionally babysit evenings to allow us to go on our first "date nights"
Please let me know if you have any questions or if you are interested. We thank you for your time. I will read every application. Thanks so much!
Best,
Paige, Hans, and Philomena
