Nanny Needed For 3-year-old girl and 1-year-old boy In Folsom
Hi! We are looking for a part-time/full-time nanny. We can work with you to build out the best consistent, weekly schedule whether that be half or full days. Our previous nanny just moved out of state. She became such an important, loved part of our family and we are looking to build a long-term relationship with our next nanny as well. We live in Folsom. Our daughter will be 3 in May and is a fun, active toddler. Our little boy is turning 1 in May and is similarily happy and curious. We are looking for an energetic, patient and loving nanny who can keep both children engaged during the day. Health and safety are a priority and we would like somebody who is up-to-date on their vaccinations (including COVID). Bilingual HIGHLY preferred but not required.

We look forward to hearing from you!

A little bit about us

We are seeking a dedicated and loving nanny to provide care for our son, Michael, who is 19 months old. Michael is a kind, playful, and energetic toddler, and we are looking for someone who can match his enthusiasm and curiosity. The ideal candidate will be a nurturing individual with experience in early childhood development, capable of creating a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for Michael to thrive in.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide attentive care for Michael from 7 am to 12 pm on weekdays, with flexibility for extended hours as needed.

- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development, including arts and crafts, reading, and educational games.

- Feed Michael, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.

- Maintain a consistent daily routine, including nap times and play sessions.

- Ensure Michael’s safety at all times and administer first aid as necessary.

- Assist with light housekeeping duties related to Michael’s care, such as cleaning up after meals and organizing his play area.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a nanny or childcare provider, with references.

- Knowledge of early childhood development and education.

- First aid and CPR certification.

- A warm, caring, and patient personality.

- Ability to commit to the schedule and be punctual and reliable.

Ideal candidate

If you possess a warm, nurturing "Grandma-type" personality, akin to a loving family member who brings a blend of wisdom, patience, and gentle care, we would be delighted to welcome you into our home. We are looking for someone who can not only take care of Michael’s practical needs but also provide him with the kind of affectionate, comforting presence that a grandparent would offer. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being part of a child's growth and wants to support a young family, much like a doting grandmother would for her grandchildren.
