A little bit about us

We are a two-mom family currently expecting our first child at the end of March. We're looking for a part-time nanny (20-25 hours/wk) who has specific experience with providing newborn/infant care. Our start date is TBD, but likely between June and July 2024. Exact time frames per day are estimated and may vary. Hourly pay can adjust depending on experience and/or to fit a weekly or monthly total.

The best nanny for us will first and foremost be knowledgable about newborn needs (diapering, play time, bottle feeding breast milk, health warning signs, naps/safe sleeping, etc.). A great fit would also be comfortable with light housework (dishes, tidying, baby laundry) and meal/snack preparation. Our nanny must have their own car, be CPR and First Aid certified, and up-to-date on current vaccinations.

We would also love our little one to get exposure to nature. Our back yard is lovely, but depending on circumstances we may be interested in our nanny taking some outdoor trips (e.g. park, picnic). As our child grows up, someone with a creative mind and ability to plan fun age-appropriate activities and/or outings is a must! Reading and learning developmentally appropriate skills is also important to us.

We work from home, with one of us going into the office once a week. This means our ideal nanny will be comfortable knowing we are in the house with them, and won't be opposed to us visiting baby periodically during the day.

If we sound like a good fit for you, please don't hesitate to reach out!

The typical day starts at 6am to prepare kids for school. The 2-year-old is in school only on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Tuesdays & Thursdays nanny will watch toddler and engage toddle in fun activities (take to park, color, play outside, etc.) Once kids come home from school at 3pm, we need the nanny to prepare snack, help with homework, bathe toddler and prepare dinner. Our nanny's day usually ends at 6pm. Working days are Monday thru Saturday. Sundays are off for the nanny. We are looking for a nanny with experience. A nanny who is positive and full of joy but also knows how to command respect from kids. We need a nanny who can stay for at least 12 months. Caribbean nanny preferred. Please let me know if you're interested.
