A little bit about us

We have a 16 month son name Kasen. Kasen is the happiest, most smiliest baby! He is at a very fun age and is just starting to walk and say words and points to everything.

Both parents work remotely from home 5 days a week. Kasen’s current nanny has a young daughter so can’t work the full time hours we need. The times can definitely be flexible and can eventually grow into more full-time if needed, but right now we are looking for Monday-Thursday 1pm or 2pm - 5pm or 6pm. We are also looking for someone who might be flexible to pick up full day shifts if our other nanny isn’t available.

We have two very lovable Labradors, so must be dog friendly. Light household things like wash bottles, start dishwasher, take out trash, tidy up playroom, etc.

We are looking for someone to watch our 12 month old son 2-3 times per week, for 3 hours at a time (11am - 2pm, 4:30pm - 7:30pm). The days of the week are somewhat flexible, and ideally we will have a fixed schedule recurring each week.

Nanny Position Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced part-time nanny (~9 hours per week) to care for our baby boy, who will be 12 months old in April. Our main focus is finding someone who is loving, responsible, and attuned to our son’s needs.

About Us:

We’re first-time parents to a sweet and curious little boy. Mom stays at home and needs coverage to focus household projects and activities outside the home. Dad typically works outside the home during regular business hours.

Our parenting style is responsive, and we love spending time playing on the floor engaging with our son. We have two medium sized dogs and our nanny must be comfortable around them, using gates to keep them separate, letting them outside, etc.

Days and Hours:

We’re flexible on which days of the week we need help. We’re looking to start with three shifts per week, each lasting 3 hours. Ideally the nanny would offer at least two days of the week with availability between 4pm - 7pm and two days with availability between 11am - 2pm that we could pick 2-3 shifts from.

Location:

We live in La Jolla, close to North Pacific Beach.

Compensation:
