Divorced dad’s is seeking live-in nanny to help with 3-year old boy’s care. Parenting time alternates between a Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday schedule for week “A” and a Wednesday, Thursday schedules for week “B.” Child may be attending preschool, so nanny is primarily needed for early mornings and late afternoons until child’s bedtime. Light housekeeping and child’s meal preparation is required. nanny would likely have considerable “free time” during the day to attend college classes! Nanny would also help with driving child to and from preschool. We currently live in Jupiter, but are planning to relocate to the Delray Beach area.

A little bit about us

(NOT CURRENTLY SEEKING NANNY) We have four kids age 8 months, 20 months, 3 years, and 4 years. (girl-boy-girl-boy). We are looking for live-out but live-in is also an option as we have a guest cottage.

We, Emily and Michael, both work from home and are very involved in looking after the kids, cooking, taking them to play, changing diapers, etc. Our oldest two are in preschool M, W, and F. You can play with the kids at home, take them to a park or the beach, on an e-bike ride, or hang out with the neighbors next door (2 little girls whom we see everyday who have their own horses, dogs, and chickens).

We go to the beach a lot, have a pool, and the kids' grandparents live nearby. The kids spend a lot of time outdoors - our first two learned to swim and stopped riding in the stroller at age 1 and 2. We're not helicopter parents, but give kids plenty of freedom to run around, climb trees, visit the next-door neighbors, etc. Our kids have no allergies or special conditions. They are bright, athletic, confident, and polite. We treat them like regular little people and teach them to be respectful in return. We understand that young children can be difficult but we are always around to help!

We keep a regular 9-5 work schedule on weekdays, so this is when we need the most help (8-5 is our ideal schedule, with some flexibility). We almost never need help at night or on weekends, and often will let our nanny go early if we don't have a lot of work (often on Friday).

We have two fun dogs, Juno and Samson, three friendly cats, plus chickens and ducks (tons of fresh eggs!).

We're looking forward to getting to know you!

A little bit about us

Hello! We have two daughters, 5/3. The oldest has special needs and is non-verbal with motor skill and developmental challenges, but very social, sweet and capable. Our youngest is a pistol! Smart, energetic, strong willed. We are looking for someone who can spend 20-30 hours a week helping with school pick-up/drop-off, play time, helping with house upkeep, and giving mom & dad time to focus on other family needs. It is important that this person become "part of the family", and we are open to a full-time/live-in situation with the right fit. You will find our family to be very open, friendly, welcoming and busy. FYI - we have local grandparents, but don't want the grandkids to be their "job" - we want them to enjoy. They will be around to participate at times.
