We are a family in Iowa City with one baby and two young golden retrievers. We are looking for a nanny who can work with us until the baby is at least 1 year old. We value someone with nanny experience, and who is able to engage and entertain our baby through their milestones.
Location: Iowa City, Galway Hills
Hours:
Mon-Wed 8:30-4:30 PM
Thur-Fri 7:30-5:30 PM
Live-Out position.
Commitment:
Starting April 3, 2023 for at least 8 months.
Job Responsibilities:
• Following strict nap/feeding/play schedule
• Engaging in age appropriate activities with child
• Chronicling day for parents
• Light household chores including dishes and some laundry
• We have two young golden retrievers, so it is important the nanny is okay with dogs around the house.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
• Minimum of two years of professional childcare experience
• Non-Smoker
• CPR and first-aid certified
• Up to date vaccinations (including TDAP, Influenza, Covid-19)
• Must have a valid driver’s license, provide current registration and insurance
Pay:
• Pay as a legal W-2 employee
• Hourly rate starting at $15 per hour
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 2 weeks paid time off
