Providing in home care for a 11 month old girl at Walker, MI (Standale area) while I work from home. Hours would be 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Would like to start with 1 day per week on which ever day is convenient for you. Location is 1 mile off the bus route, so transportation is a plus but not essential.
Job Description;
-Either (2) 1.5 hour naps is common **Free to study, watch 65” TV, etc. during naps.
-While awake, play with, feed, and prevent child from harms like gravity, bumping head, eating paper, etc.
-Cutting up food into appropriate sizes and feeding while making sure she doesn’t choke
-Going for a stroller walk as needed to keep her from getting grumpy or bored (she likes this)
-Managing her emotions and keeping her as happy as possible
-Putting her down for naps
-Making sure she doesn’t smack our housecat and provoke negative affection
-Occasionally lunch will be provided for you
-(OPTIONAL) General house cleaning in downtime instead of doing your own thing will result in higher pay (cleaning up toys, dishes, tidying up, etc.)
Potential Future Options;
If all goes well, we would be looking add you to a list of our go-to babysitter options for occasional weekday evenings/weekend time slot's which would involve less hours and higher pay since we wouldn’t be in the house with you for these sessions.
