A little bit about us
My name is Tish and I am looking for a parent’s helper for my 2 year old son.
A little background on us… we moved here to Holly Ridge back in July 2023 and have a 2 year old and 4 month old (both boys). I am a full time night shift NICU nurse and my husband is a stay at home Dad. Due to my husband’s health he has become unable to give our 2 year old the care and activity he needs, so we are seeking a helper to assist him 4 days a week from 10-1 (I will also be home but will be sleeping since I work night shift), as well as some coverage taking care of both boys when my husband has his doctors appointments at Duke. The days will vary week to week based off of my schedule, but they will be known normally about a month in advance. We do have a Rottweiler (a giant teddy bear) and a cat, so you must be comfortable with them being around.
If this sounds like something you may be interested in, please message me so we can set something up to discuss further details!

A little bit about us
We have an energetic and only child, 4-year-old girl. She loves to be social and play, and immediately wants everybody to be her friend. We are looking for somebody who is also playful and creative, who will engage with her and not sit her in front of a TV. She attends a nature-based school, so she loves to be outside and moving around.
Our household also has a cat and dog. The dog is hypoallergenic, but the cat is not. We implement Montessori into our parenting styles and child development.
Other responsibilities of the job: letting dog out to potty, quick tidy up of toys before end of shift.

A little bit about us
We are open to a live-in nanny or a live-out nanny. Our daughter is in preschool full time and can be dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 5:30pm. She has dance twice a week (Mondays, 4-4:40pm and Thursdays, 3:20-4pm). She’s a super sweet and easy going toddler and is everyone’s best friend.
This would be a great position for someone who works or goes to school but wants to make some extra money on the side or exchange nannying for room and board. Due to the fact that she’s in preschool, you mainly be needed to drop-off and pick-up from school, and then start dinner with her. Besides the two days a week that she has dance class.
I start nursing school in a January out in Greenville. So my drive will be horrendous with leaving early in the morning and getting home late at night. My husband is active duty Marine Corps and will be deploying mid-next year, so we need someone reliable and flexible on some days.
Obviously things can be discussed in regards to pay but if desired, we would be okay with allowing our daughters nanny to live in our home rent-free in exchange for her care. You would have full house access, your own bedroom and a shared bathroom with our daughter.
We do have dogs and a cat, so you would need to be comfortable also caring for them.
