A little bit about us

My wife, Angela, and I (Tim) have 4 kids that we homeschool. My work keeps me away from home frequently, and we need some extra help with the kids. Weekdays from 8am-4pm are ideal for us. Work would include dropping off and picking up our youngest from preschool, helping the other kids with their schoolwork, cooking, light housekeeping, and dropping kids off at activities. We are planning to move to Texas at the end of July, 2023. So, this will be a 6-month(ish) job. Thanks!

A little bit about us

Seeking a live-in nanny for our 1 and 3 year old boys! K, our 3 year old, is a sweet and silly soul who loves dinosaurs, space, and pointing out and teaching everyone about garbage trucks. He is potty trained. E is a 15 month old spitfire with a big personality and a heart of gold. He loves to run, splash in the kiddie pool, and play with our dogs. He's a great eater and solid napper who thrives on routine.
Room & board, food and utilities on us, with $200/week additional cash pay for full time work. Additional hourly pay for any evenings or overnights. Nanny will have their own room and bathroom, use of the full kitchen, and access to fresh veggies from the garden.
Opportunities to hike/camp/experience the beauty of the Southwest with us on weekends or have that time to yourself. Must love dogs, we have two wiggly butt mutts.
Having a car and/or license and comfort driving the boys required in case of scheduled appointments, but we would love to get to know and trust our nanny so that they can do fun outings to the zoo/aquarium/botanic garden, children's museum, parks and classes etc around town!
Some light housework and food prep for the boys during the day would be part of the gig. We'll take care of the pups' needs. No medical complexities or special needs for our boys.
We are an adventurous, artistic and inclusive family. My husband works in sales, and I'm a mental health counselor. He plays guitar and does photography and wood working, and I'm a baker and crochet hobbiest. We hike and camp as often as possible. We would love for our nanny to speak another language in addition to English that they are willing to use with the kids, as we also speak Spanish, German, and a little French.
Please reach out with any questions if you believe we may be a good fit! We can't wait to meet you.
