A little bit about us

Hi there,

My husband and I are looking for a loving part-time nanny to care for our daughter, P, when I return to work on March 1st. P will be 4 1/2 months by then and loves being sung to, playing with toys and snuggles. I'm an independent consultant so my hours vary slightly from month to month; however, we're looking for a nanny to come to our home in Providence on weekdays for between four and six hours per day. We have one small, friendly wired-haired dachshund at home.

We'd love to find a nanny who is nurturing, patient, kind and enthusiastic. In addition to being a non-smoker, having their own transportation and being CPR-certified, we'd like to find someone who has been a nanny previously and has experience with newborns.

Thank you!

A little bit about us

We're a soon-to-be family of four, eagerly anticipating the arrival of our newborn in February while keeping up with our amazing 2-year-old! We're initially seeking part-time support, with the hopes to transition to full-time care later on.

We believe in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our little ones, with a particular emphasis on Montessori-style learning. If you're a family who shares our vision and values, we'd love to connect.

A little bit about us

Hello! My husband and I just had a baby two months ago (Penny) and we are starting to think about childcare options. I will likely be able to stay home with her until March 2024, but when I go back to work we will be looking for someone to be with Penny from around 8:30-2:30 Tues-Fri. We live in Fox Point in Providence. We have one senior dog who is very sweet and my husband works from home so will be in the house on the third floor. Can’t wait to hear from you!

We have one 2 year old son named Ronan. He is sweet and funny and a easy and fun-loving (though high-energy!) kid! We are looking for childcare Mondays and Wednesdays during the work day, 8/9-4pm. This can beat our house, and we also have plenty of parks and kid spots nearby.

A little bit about us

My wife and I have a six-year-old daughter. Our daughter is curious, creative and all-around wonderful.
All parents are biased, of course, but I like this kid. She is just starting first grade after a year of being home-schooled.
Both my wife and I work -- my wife is a university teacher and a designer/illustrator, and I am a wildlife photographer. The nature of my work sometimes calls me away for a few days at a time, and I am looking for a reliable sitter who can help with an irregular schedule.

In the immediate future, I'm going to be gone for two days, and I need someone who can come to our house and spend ~3-4 hours/day with my daughter in the afternoons, from 5-8/9. My daughter often drives activities, and won't be shy about suggesting what she would like to do. Common activities involve: sitting and reading, art projects, outdoor play (scooter/bike/etc), investigating nature/animals in various ways, playing board and card games, building kit projects, and an ever-changing cast of other interests.

I have an immediate need for help, but long-term, am looking to start a good, ongoing relationship with a caregiver who can help out on both a regular and irregular schedule in the future. If that's up your alley, let me know.
