About Our Family:
• We have a newborn arriving soon and will need extra support, especially while my husband is away on deployment with the Navy.
• We have four dogs (all well-behaved and separated into two groups for harmony), so comfort around animals is a must.
• I’ll be home most of the time, but recovering from delivery and managing the household solo, so I need someone who can jump in to help with both baby care and light household tasks.
Responsibilities May Include:
• Caring for the baby while I rest, shower, or take care of other tasks (diaper changes, soothing, bottle feeding if needed, etc.)
• Light housekeeping (folding baby laundry, loading/unloading dishwasher, wiping down counters, etc.)
• Occasional help preparing bottles or simple meals/snacks
• Keeping an eye on the baby while I take the dogs out or manage dog transitions in the home
• Providing companionship and support during the early postpartum weeks
Ideal Candidate:
• Has infant care experience and is patient, calm, and intuitive
• Is okay with dogs and understands a home that has a pet routine
• Is dependable, proactive, and able to work without constant direction
• Comfortable working in a home where a new mom is present and just needs that extra set of hands
Hours:
Flexible part-time schedule, ideally 3–4 days a week, 3–5 hours a day, depending on your availability and our evolving needs
