A little bit about us
We have a current 17 month old girl and will be adding a new baby anytime in the next month.
We are looking for part-time, 2 day a week, long term care for the two youngest in our home. Thursday and Friday schedule beginning at 2pm. Thursdays will be shorter days with a handful of pre-scheduled exceptions, average out by 7pm. Fridays will be longer days, maximum 9 hours, but highly unlikely to go past 8 hours.
Mom and Dad work overlapping 1st and 2nd shifts in different industries.
We are down-to-earth people, we try and do some Montessori, but it is not a requirement. We have 2 cats, the most "care" they require is to be let through the baby gates to their food occasionally. They generally have nothing to do with people, strangers, or the toddler and hide in the basement most of the day.
We have zero expectations of household chores outside of the basics like throwing away the dirty diapers and rinsing out bottles that got used.
Any day that stretches beyond dinnertime will have dinner provided, usually a crock pot meal or something already made that needs to be reheated, but not actually cooked.
We are looking for someone who wants to love our babies like we do and is not looking for a full-time gig with benefits as this will never be that.
We do camp quite often in the summertime at Waldenwoods in Hartland. We are unsure about our current camping plans, but if you are interested in watching kids there, that can be discussed. We would ask that there be current swim/lifesaving certifications before you take our kids to beach or pool.
