A little bit about us
We also have an adult family member who’s polite and mostly keeps to himself. He’s respectful and independent but tends to stay in his room to avoid overstimulation from the little ones.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Genuinely enjoys kids (and dogs!) and is easy-going and nonjudgmental
• Is available for occasional weekend evenings (for date nights) and some Friday-to-Saturday overnights in our home
• Can help with light meal prep, serving dinner, and the bedtime routine
• Provides caring supervision during overnight stays (the kids sleep through the night!)
• Is reliable, communicative, and comfortable with 24–48 hours’ notice — though we’ll always offer more when we can.
We’re looking for a consistent, long-term caregiver rather than occasional babysitting.
The core schedule is Monday, Wednesday, with school pickup it’s close by our home and provide care 2:00pm through about 8PMz The role includes pickup, snacks/dinner support, light homework supervision, and creating a calm after-school routine while Mom works from home.
We’re also hoping the same person would be open to some Friday evenings and one Friday overnight per month, though those are not every week.
We provide a weekly gas stipend for school pickups.
We’re a welcoming home that values kindness, calm energy, and mutual respect. If you’re responsible, love kids and dogs, and want a family who will truly appreciate you, we’d love to hear from you!
