A little bit about us

We are a lively, loving family with six children (Ages [phone number hidden], and 1) in search of a reliable, warm, and experienced part-time nanny to support our household during key daily windows. With six children spanning teenagers to a toddler, we value help that allows everyone to thrive—older kids gaining independence while the youngest receives attentive care. This role offers flexibility and meaningful impact in a supportive family environment.
Position Overview
• Hours: Approximately 4 hours per day, with flexibility around family needs. Exact timing can adjust seasonally
• Commitment: Part-time, ongoing
• Location: Our family home (transportation to/from activities may be required).
• Start Date: Flexible, as soon as a great fit is found.
The role centers on bridging the gap for school pick-ups, the toddler’s needs, and light household support, while the older children (who are generally self-sufficient) benefit from gentle accountability and assistance with their youngest sibling.

Key Responsibilities
• Toddler Care (Age 1): Primary focus during your hours—nurturing, engaging play, feeding, diapering, naps, and safety supervision.
• Support for School-Age & Teen Children:
• Possible school transportation during the academic year.
• Transportation to and from extracurricular activities, sports, or appointments.
• Light oversight and encouragement for older kids to stay on track with responsibilities (e.g., homework reminders, helping them assist with the toddler when appropriate).
• Meal & Snack Support: Prepare snacks or light meals for the school kids returning home and the toddler.
• Light Household Tasks (as bonuses, not primary duties)
• General: Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment. Communicate openly with parents about the day’s highlights, needs, or any concerns.
We do not expect full housekeeping, heavy cleaning, or sole responsibility for all six children at once—older kids handle much of their own routines.

A little bit about us

Both of my children are severely autistic. They have high care and sensory needs. My 5 year old daughter is nonverbal. My 9 year old son can speak, but not always clearly. Our home is designed to keep them safe and happy while supporting the needs of the caregivers as well. I have cameras throughout our except in the restrooms, so the children can be observed while other tasks are completed. Neither child is potty trained, though my son will urinate in the toilet if directed and prompted. I’m a single mom and taking care of them is my full time job. I need someone to give me breaks so I can have a little life for myself. The schedule on those breaks can be negotiated as well as the length of time. When trained this could be a permanent, very lucrative opportunity. Thank you for reading! 🖤

I am looking for someone to watch my 15 year old son when I work out of town. You would be a live in nanny. You would have your days completely free. I would need you in the evenings and to be here when I’m not able to be here overnight. Also sometimes I have to be out of state so you would need to help then. You would have your own room and be able to come and go as you please. I’m usually off most weekends so weekends you would be free unless I’m out of town. More details can be discussed later. I would need you to pick him up from sporting practices in the evenings. Light cooking at times.
