We are seeking an experienced & compassionate live-in nanny to care for our 11-year-old son, who has been diagnosed with ADHD with hyperactivity & has a history of severe childhood trauma.
The ideal candidate will have professional experience working with children with similar needs & training in trauma-informed care & behavior management techniques.
Responsibilities include:
- provide day to day care, support, & supervision to ensure the child's safety & well being.
- implement structured routines to promote stability & consistency.
- utilize methodologies for managing ADHD symptoms & emotional regulation, including positive reinforcement strategies , sensory management, & mindfulness techniques.
- support the child in completing schoolwork, organizing tasks, and developing independent skills.
- cook his meals, takes to/ from appts.
- the ability to travel
