A little bit about us
Our daughter goes to day care 3 full days a week, so it would be 2 children on Monday and Friday. Our son starts school in August and start time would change to 11:00am.
Daily Schedule Monday- Friday is from 8:30-5:30
Our son has high functioning autism, is very athletic and quite bright. He does very well with a care giver that can direct him from activity to activity and help structure through the day through play, outdoor time and art. He is very logical, literal and detail focused. He has an incredible mind and memory and loves learning! We would love for help with educational material such as worksheets to help keep learning in focus, we would provide these materials.
We believe that we need to have a teacher, student in school for occupational therapy or psychology, or a adult who’s children are grown and now out of the home.
We would welcome all applications and are open to calls for further discussion or clarification.
Would consider immediate temporary care in the interim.
Care for our children is primary focus. We are hoping this care giver can come up with daily plans from staying in the home and making a fort, doing art projects, practicing reading and taking a bike ride to a fun day out at the cottonwood heights pool, or a hike in little cottonwood canyon or a trip to Thanksgiving point. we have memberships to many places in Salt Lake for extra fun
tidying common areas before end of the day.
