A little bit about us

We're searching for a part-time nanny for our 2 year old boy in Brattleboro for a total of around 8-10 hours. Ideally we'd be searching for weekday afternoons (around 3:30-6) and one weekend afternoon or evening, but we're open to making hours work for the right person.

A bit about us: We're a family of three living in West Brattleboro. Ben our kid, is a cheerful toddler. Amy (mom) is a painter and art professor. Adam (dad) is a software engineer and former professional trumpet player. We live in a house with plenty of room to play, a back yard and a play room. We don't have any pets. We love cooking, listening to music, exploring Brattleboro, and being outside. We're Covid cautious, fully vaccinated (except Ben) and hoping to find someone similarly inclined.

Ben is used to being cared for by other adults, he attends daycare during the day and has had two other nannies who can serve as references. He loves playing in the back yard, building with blocks, reading books, and toy trains. Playing with him, offering snacks, and occasionally doing a bedtime routine on weekends would be part of the job.

We look forward to hearing from you!

We are looking for an experienced nanny who has taken care of infants <5 months old to babysit our 17+ month old child at our home, and to start sometime in March on a temporary basis (1 month or so). Currently, looking for 2 days per week but could be up to 4 days per week in the future. Wednesday 9am-5pm, and Friday 9am - 4pm.
Our child loves 1:1 engagement, playing with toys together, music/singing, walking and exploring new things. Currently napping 1x per day for 1-1.5 hrs. Happy baby who needs activities and developmental opportunities.
